This 10-week plan is specifically designed to prepare you for the Lake Sonoma Marathon (April 12, 2025), Napa Valley Endurance Run (April 13, 2025), the Mendocino Coast 50K (April 19, 2025), and similar events, ensuring you’re ready to embrace the challenge of trail running and cross the finish line with confidence.

This program is tailored for runners taking on their first trail marathon or returning to the distance after a hiatus. It emphasizes building endurance, navigating technical terrain, and finishing strong.
- Weekly Mileage: Starts at ~15 miles and peaks at ~35 miles.
- Key Focus: Long runs, steady progression, and injury prevention.
Perform Group
Created for seasoned marathoners looking to improve their performance, this plan integrates advanced workouts like tempo runs, hill repeats, and race-specific strategies to help you achieve your goals.
- Weekly Mileage: Starts at ~20 miles and peaks at ~45 miles.
- Key Focus: Performance optimization, speedwork, and technical trail mastery.
